Getting Settled in Switzerland

Greetings in the New Year from Switzerland! So awesome to back again – just can’t seem to stay away… It’s been nearly 3 years since I’ve stayed with the same family. They are truly some of the most sweetest people I’ve known, and have been so good to me. It’s funny how fast time flies, and yet for the most part, nothing’s changed. It’s like coming back home ❤

So here I’ve made a couple of videos just going over my flight/arrival in Switzerland…

..and here I made a brief little video of what my apartment looks like.

So far, I’ve been here a little over a week (and wow, has it flown by!). I’ve settled in nicely, I think. I’m treated like a member of the family, and feel very well taken care of 🙂

Yesterday I had the best time sledding in the snow! It has been snowing quite a lot lately, all throughout the night before to where when I woke up the next morning, I was greeted by huge piles of snow, and attempted to help shovel it out of the way… only, I had never shoveled snow before. You see, it’s not something we commonly do in Florida. Or in the South, for that matter… So, when I got on my winter appropriate snow clothing, and was given a sled to use, off I was with a few Swiss kids to have the time of my life. I was in heaven. Sledding in the snow in the midst of the Swiss Alps in the new year 2017.

It doesn’t get better than this 😉

Tschau for now!
